My name is Yvette Flores, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have 10+ years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about fostering healing spaces and comunidad. I have extensive experience helping immigrants, children of immigrants, and BIPGM (Black, Indigenous, and People of the Global Majority) reaffirm their personal values and show up with confidence in their communities. I use an eclectic mix of tools grounded in cognitive behavioral theory, attachment theory, and internal family system theory to help clients reach their goals. I was born and raised in Southern California to Mexican immigrant parents. I have dedicated myself to supporting the Latinx community in various capacities since I was a young high school student. Currently, I live in the San Francisco Bay area with my partner and my pitbull puppy, Keylong. I identify as queer and an emerging Buddhist.
