Specializing in trauma informed care, KAP and PHRI work, mindful masculinity, and couples work.
Counseling, as I practice it, is a relational science and a work of art. I’ve centered my career around relationships, understanding our common human mechanisms of seeing and being seen, and the ways in which those processes respond to abundance and attunement versus adversity and scarcity. In fact, our work in counseling is primarily rooted in your and my relationship. Coming to understand and trust one another allows us together to explore your concerns, define your goals, and work toward an improved life and orientation to self, others, and the world. I believe that biologically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually we are wired for connection. Those of us who do not come by honest nurturance of that connective tissue can suffer tremendously. It’s my hope that in helping you hold some of the suffering, we can rewrite old patterns, heal old wounds, and equip you with the new scripts of the life story you were always meant to write.
I enjoy the way KAP allows for clients to step aside from their default stress responses and ground in their experience.
