With acceptance, authenticity, and compassion, I practice an experiential approach to psychotherapy and encourage clients to actively address and explore hidden parts of themselves to gain greater self-awareness and cultivate transformation. I focus on each client's strengths and embrace a holistic model of care. I specialize in working with trauma survivors and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. I have advanced training and experience in several trauma-informed approaches outside of KAP, including internal family systems (IFS), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic (body-based) techniques, Phoenix Rising yoga therapy, the Trauma Integration Protocol (TIP), and mindfulness. I also believe it is important to acknowledge and explore issues in our society and how these issues impact mental health. These issues include racism, capitalism, ableism, sexism, classism, colonialization, homophobia, transphobia, and cisheteronormativity.
