About Rachel

My background: I grew up in Maryland, in a family of mixed Jewish and English descent. I did my undergraduate degree in music theory at Oberlin College in Ohio, and music remains a major focus in my life. In 2011 I moved to the Bay Area to study psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and the Bay has been my home ever since. As a therapist, I enjoy working with music-lovers and others who value creative expression—even if they’re feeling disconnected from it! I believe many are suffering from these all-too-common disconnections: from others, from the natural world, and from play and creativity. I love helping people get back in touch with their creativity as they release their emotional burdens and limiting beliefs. I am excited to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as a way to access, and ultimately integrate, new states of mind while loosening the hold of old limiting beliefs.
