Specializing in both specific traumas, especially sexual trauma, and the deeper contexts and impacts of those traumas.
I graduated from Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 2001, and have close to 25 years of experience helping clients with the challenging, often frightening task of achieving their potential. When people come into my office, they are usually stuck. Stuck in destructive behaviors. Stuck in ways of coping with past traumas that are not allowing them to move forward. Their distress is palpable, as is their motivation to move forward with their lives. It is this motivation I begin with, the strength it takes to face what isn't working. Together, we can transform being stuck into flying free. For trauma, I am trained in EMDR and IFS, using them along with narrative techniques. I've recently introduced KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy) into my practice.
