Humans continually fascinate me and intrigue me. As a child, I thought I wanted to be an anthropologist or archeologist. Later, an activist or a policy maker. However, becoming a therapist felt like a beautiful way to blend these passions. As an optimist and activist, my work is about creating a better world and the best way I know how to spread that magic is to start with you. And me. And us. Listening together to the great mystery of who we are and how together we can be more than the sum of our parts. After 20+ years in the field, my approach is eclectic and broad. I incorporate several modalities including EMDR, Mindful Self-Compassion, Hakomi, Relational Somatic Healing and IFS. All of which are good partners when doing KAP with my clients. I am a queer mother of three in a blended family which includes my furry therapy assistant, Loretta. In my free time, I read mysteries, hike, and go on adventures with my kids.
