Dr. Liz A. Caine brings a wealth of experience in psychology and spirituality, holding a Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, an M.A. in Engaged Buddhism from Naropa University, and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Friends World Program, Long Island University. Liz interned at Cancer Support Community, San Francisco Bay Area, as a part of their doctoral training and later went on to supervise doctoral practicum students providing free, brief therapy to cancer patients and their families from 2021 to 2025. Liz’s diverse training includes certifications in Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy, Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Instruction, and Psychedelic Integration, reflecting a deep commitment to integrating holistic and contemplative practices into their therapeutic work. Liz has focused their private practice on gifted, neurodivergent, and queer communities and those facing cancer and end-of-life concerns.
