I specialize in the incorporation of mindfulness practices, somatic experiencing techniques, and EMDR. I employ a psychodynamic/Jungian framework, augmented with internal family systems, CBT, and trauma focused-CBT techniques. With couples I use an emotion-focused approach. I am ENM, Poly, kink, and LGBTQIA+ aware. I earned my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at Adelphi University. I received my clinical training from Mount Sinai Beth Israel, the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research, and Maimonides Medical Center. My doctoral-level internship was at Manhattan Psychiatric Center, an in-patient psychiatric hospital. I was a staff psychologist in multiple skilled nursing home facilities throughout the pandemic. I am EMDR Basic 1 and 2 trained. I am an EMBARK-certified facilitator of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy in Cybin’s first-in-human trial of CYB003 for major depressive disorder.
