Katie Mason, LCSW (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working in mental health with children, youth and adults. Many of her clients are empaths, deep thinkers, and have many talents, however may lack self-esteem, are facing a transition in their lives, experienced a trauma or need some guidance on tricky issues. Katie supports each individual or family system to navigate the struggles - be it depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, identity exploration, relationship pain - while highlighting strengths and building new skills. With a warm, authentic approach, Katie builds trust with clients to allow for vulnerability, risk taking, and ultimately personal growth. Katie likes to use a blend of insight-oriented and skills-based approaches, drawing from her experience with cognitive behavior therapy, trauma work, IFS, Mindfulness and attachment theory. Katie also has extensive training in treating eating disorders or other high risk situations.
