I feel inspired by working with clients who are ready to make a change with behaviors that are no longer serving them, assisting people in finding a healthier relationship with food and their body, supporting more effective communication between family members/loved ones and providing helpful coping tools to better manage difficult emotions. I believe we are all worthy of love, overcoming our past traumas and that everyday is a new opportunity for growth and change. I received my B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara and my masters in clinical psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara. I have worked in all levels of care (residential, PHP, IOP and out-patient) serving individuals suffering from eating disorders, addiction, mental health and homelessness. My approach is progressive, warm and compassionate with clients, partnering to work towards their goals of managing difficult emotions and skillfully coping with life’s adversity.
