I work with clients to create individualized music playlists as well as incorporating live music for journey sessions.
I have a Masters in Expressive Therapy from Lesley University. I'm also a board-certified music therapist and have been practicing professionally since 2014. My practice incorporates multiple expressive/creative modalities (music/soundwork, art, drama, movement, writing, sand play and sand tray) as well as other modalities including CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, IFS, and mindfulness. I have a person-centered approach to my work, and I take seriously the socio-cultural backgrounds of my clients. My philosophy as a therapist is influenced by feminism and existentialism through a lens of decolonization and liberation. I take multiple insurances, and besides those listed below, I also could take Fallon, Tufts Public Health Plan, or Wellsense for parts of the treatment sessions.
