Treating trauma and grief through compassion, understanding, validation & genuine care.
Being raised in a bi-cultural household outside of NYC, I learned the art of code-switching early on, even within my own extended family. I lost my father to cancer when I was 12 and was raised as an only child by mom. I was in NYC for 9-11 and NOLA for Hurricane Katrina, so I am pretty familiar with relocating because of man-made and natural disasters; and the grief and loss that comes along. As you can imagine, growing up where I did shaped my personality. I am specific, kind, warm, easy to talk to, and I catch myself saying the quiet part out loud. Plus, I don't have a poker face. After relocating throughout the country for a decade, I settled in Denver where I try to enjoy everything the Rocky Mountains has to offer despite being a water baby at heart. Red Rocks, the Rockies, and our inviting outdoor culture & climate. When I am not here, I am back East visiting family or trying to catch waves on the Pacific Coast.
