Accepting yourself as you are now AND working towards change is hard to do alone. I work to create a safe place where clients can be curious about themselves and their experiences while moving towards a life that feels more fully their own. My style is down to earth and active. Working from an attachment theory and trauma informed approach, I join with clients to understand nonjudgmentally the patterns in their lives. Additionally, I incorporate skill building using a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approach as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to support clients in building the internal safety and flexibility needed to engage more fully in their relationships with themselves and others.
