About Everett

I love working with LBGTQ+ and TGNC communities. I understand the unique challenges we face living in a society that sends us mixed messages about who we can or should be. I have worked with clients to navigate coming out at school/work/home, begin hormone therapy, work with difficult family dynamics and come to accept who they truly are. I also understand the importance of intersectionality and cultural humility in our communities and the impact minority stress has. My work is grounded in attachment theory, mindfulness and transpersonal psychology. I prefer a holistic approach to a diagnostic one. I believe compassion is the cornerstone of the human experience. Once we build compassion for ourselves and others, we can begin to heal the wounds that cause us so much pain. If you feel like I might be a good fit for you, please do not hesitate to reach out! I look forward to connecting with you.
