I have over 30 years of experience treating people coping with life changes. These include issues around relationships, loneliness, parenting, divorce, job change, caring for a loved one, and chronic illness. I work with clients to guide them in identifying new purpose, managing anxieties and depression, and to support them in achieving personal balance. We do this through addressing emotional, social, and spiritual needs through utilization of CBT and positive psychology. My approach is straightforward, engaged, and when appropriate, humorous. It's not always easy to ask for help and I work with individuals in an understanding way to gain their trust and to help them to maximize the therapeutic experience, especially when utilizing methods such as KAP.
