I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and disruptive life events, as well as those living with mood and anxiety disorders. In working with individuals, I focus on their strengths, using a person-centered approach. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is critical to any effective emotional work, and strive to offer a comfortable space, free from judgement and filled with validation and empathy. I often use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy with individuals, while also drawing on other approaches such as CBT and parts work (combining Ego State Therapy and Internal Family Systems). I have found that using ketamine along with EMDR and/or parts work can be a powerful combination. I earned my Master of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore and my Bachelor of Arts from University of Rochester and I am an EMDRIA certified therapist and Consultant - in- Training.
