I have an MSW from the California State University, Bakersfield, graduating in 2016. I have worked with children, elderly, unhoused, and for the prison system. Prior to Social Work, I worked in retail, for Animal Regulation and for a Biotech company. I received my Bachelors Degree in Zoology and minor in Music from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2007. I believe my unique background helps me to serve a variety of clients from diverse experiences and backgrounds. I believe every client is unique and I cater my approach to each individual, couple, or family that I am working with. My primary theoretical model is Systems Theory. I believe that we have to treat the whole person when it comes to our mental health. I have lived experience understanding how diet, sleep, exercise, and life events affect my mental health and I bring that into my practice. Outside of my practice, I am interested in sustainable living. I enjoy gardening and crafting.
