Welcome, my name is Amy and I would love to help you with your journey. I have been utilizing EMDR with clients since 2016, which has shaped my view of counseling by exploring how people's life experiences have shaped them and their behaviors. Since then I have also added Brainspotting to my methodology as an additional way to processing trauma. I believe that everyone is trying their best, but sometimes anxiety, depression, and trauma can stop us from being our best selves – our authentic selves. Overcoming these obstacles can be very difficult, which is why I expanded my practice to include KAP. My goal is to help my clients process through difficult life circumstances in a nonjudgmental environment in order to find peace, acceptance, and happiness so they can live their best lives.
